The 2024.2 release is available from the 29th of October 2024. The new version streamlines workflows and boosts productivity for developers, admins, and end users. With these latest updates, you can experience a more powerful and user-friendly censhare. Let's see the highlights.

CORE updates

Extended Git integration for masterdata: This extension is ideal for customers and partners looking to reuse customizations across projects. It reserves the masterdata.xml files in the project’s custom repository, allowing easy application through a git pull. Simply put, you can apply previously built customizations in any project, reducing development time and costs.

Remember the last scroll position: censhare remembers where you last scrolled when searching for assets in a long list and switching to another tab. This feature lets you return to the exact spot you left off.

DAM updates

Rich text UI control: We’ve created a new UI control component that can be added to any String-based asset property to enhance it with rich text capabilities. This provides users with more formatting options, making descriptions more engaging. The Rich text UI control can be configured to set styling preferences and introduce character limits.

PIM update

Collapsable search filters: Say goodbye to endless scrolling in the filter navigation pane. Filters are now collapsed by default, displaying only the top five filters that yield the most results. We've also added a "Show all / less" button to expand or collapse filter nodes as needed.

CMS updates

Adobe InCopy change highlights update: We’ve enhanced the user experience by consistently highlighting text changes across clients, including the changes made in the censhare web client. These change highlights are especially beneficial for publishing companies or anyone working with icml files and tracking changes across platforms, improving workflow consistency and collaboration during asset editing.
