This week I am delighted to be sitting down with my boss, our CEO and co-founder Dieter Reichert, in the first of series of three interviews.
If you are familiar with the series, when I get someone from the early days of censhare, I start at the beginning, to learn a bit about how we started and the foundations for the company and the product. So, what better place to start the conversation with Dieter than the beginning?
The answer surprised me, as Dieter can trace the beginning of censhare to when he was a 15 year-old typesetter, with a very early grasp of the potential of information and computing.
An idea was born, as many of the best entrepreneurial ideas are, out of frustration and a deep-seated belief that things could be better and how an idea can make a difference for the future.
What follows is a conversation that takes us through the ages of the information and content management industries; emerging from the primordial soup of typesetting and the early days of computing to the near future of implants, sensors and people being literally plugged into the ‘net'.
The video provides a quick insight into the fascinating vision Dieter has and next week we’ll explore some of these ideas a bit deeper, specifically talking about the silos that are impeding our progress to this vision.
Hope you enjoy this video, always a pleasure to chat to Dieter (I admit, I could just be saying that as he's the boss, so you’ll have to trust me on that!) and I hope you enjoy this series.
